Dib's alarm went off. He sighed to himself. He knew that it was time to get up, get dressed, and go to that Hell hole they call school. But that ment seeing Zim. Zim. He kissed Zim, yesturday, right? That wasn't just a dream? He hoped it wasn't. He began thinking about the kiss again. It made his heart flutter and he smiled to himself in the dark.
As Dib was putting his black trench coat on, he found something in the pocket. He smiled again once he relised it was a note from Zim. He must've slipped it in as the hugged the fina time before they parted and went into their homes. He began reading it. "Dib-love, I do hope you are aware that now that you have violated my space and taken advantage of my lips, you are now my mate for life. I shall see you tomarrow at school. And what was that thing you said...oh yes, I love you. Zim" Dib kissed the note, put it back into the pocket, and walked out the door.
As Dib walked into the world he felt rain his is head and face. He looked up and saw thousands of dark menicing clouds. Dib loved the rain. Deep into Dib's daze, he suddenly felt something hugging around his waist. He quickly looked down at Zim trying to get into Dib's trench coat. "Dib-slave! Save your mate from this horrible RAIN!" The sight made Dib laugh as he took Zim into his arms and covered him with the coat as he walked to school.
The walk along the way was silent. But every few moments. Dib would stop, look down at his Irken, and kiss his forerhead, and each time, Zim would respond with a loving purr. Very unlike him, but Dib thought it was adorable. Dib approached the school. Once under the safety of the school entrance, He let Zim out of his trench coat. Zim looked up at Dib and made a hostile face. Then Zim lost the face as he hugged Dib. This deffinatly was not like Zim at all. These changes made Dib love the alien even more, if that was possible. Dib smiled and dug his face into Zim's fake hair. Then, before parting ways, Dib gave a quick kiss to Zim, and handed him his trench coat. Zim looked coonfused. "What is this for?" Dib smiled. "The Rain," he paused. "And also if you start to miss me" Zim smiled and held the coat close.
